Frequently Asked Questions
How long does it take?
Every home is different, but most builds take several months from planning to completion. Your timeline depends on factors like the size of the home, design changes, permitting, weather, and material availability. Integrity Homes works to keep the process moving efficiently and provides updates throughout the build.
Can I make changes?
Yes. Integrity Homes allows customization throughout the planning stage, including floor plan adjustments and finish selections. During the agreement phase, you can make up to two plan revisions before additional drafting fees apply. Once construction begins, changes may impact pricing and timeline depending on the scope of the request.
What is included?
Integrity Homes manages the process from design to construction. Services can include floor plan customization, permitting, site preparation, foundation work, construction management, design consultations, and access to an online Client Portal for tracking progress and communication. Landscaping and optional upgrades may also be available depending on your project and budget.
How do allowances work?
Allowances are budgeted amounts set aside for selections such as flooring, cabinets, lighting, plumbing fixtures, and finishes. During your design consultation, you’ll choose products that fit within those allowance amounts or decide if you’d like to upgrade certain features. Any upgrades or changes are reviewed and priced before final approval.
How do I know what the final price is?
Integrity Homes provides a preliminary quote early in the process based on your plan, lot, and wish list. After your plans, engineering, and selections are finalized, you’ll receive a detailed final quote that includes approved upgrades and specifications before construction begins.
How often will I get updates?
You’ll receive regular communication throughout the project, and Integrity Homes also provides access to an online Client Portal where you can view schedules, approvals, progress photos, and communicate directly with the team from any device.
Can I use my own realtor?
Yes. Many buyers choose to work with their own realtor during the home-building process. Integrity Homes can coordinate with your agent throughout planning, contracts, and construction to help keep communication smooth and organized.
What financing do I need?
Most custom home projects require a construction loan that converts into a traditional mortgage once the home is complete. Integrity Homes does not provide in-house financing, but we can recommend trusted lenders experienced with construction loans and custom home financing.
